Centennial Institute hosts Religious Freedom Rally for Jack Phillips

LAKEWOOD, Oct. 30 2017– The Centennial Institute announces a Religious Freedom Rally for Jack Phillips, the Colorado cake artist whose business came under fierce attack from the government when he refused to bake a cake for a same-sex marriage.

Jeff Hunt, Director of Centennial Institute, said “The rights of conscience must be protected from government overreach. Unfortunately, the government’s unconstitutional actions against Jack Phillips are a threat to the freedom of conscience of all Americans.”

“The government’s actions are un-American,” he added. “And it’s terrifying.”

Jack’s case will be argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in early December.

Join Jack Phillips, Colorado Christian University, Alliance Defending Freedom, and faith leaders from around Colorado for a rally in support of religious freedom on November 8, 2017 at 10:00am at the Colorado Christian University Event Center.

Join these faith leaders in advocating for our basic American rights, and send a message to Washington, D.C. that religious freedom needs to be protected.
